City of Anderson Economic Development Department
The Economic Development Department  works to ensure creation, retention, and expansion of wealth in our community through programs that encourage business investments, job opportunity, and programs to increase the City's tax base.  Some of the incentive programs offered through the City of Anderson to the existing business include:

Madison County Economic Development (MCED)
If your business is located outside of the City of Anderson but in Madison County, contact Madison County Economic Development (MCED).  As a privately-funded non-profit organization, MCED’s mission is to plan and undertake activities leading to steady job growth, increasing economic diversity, and a strengthened employer base which enhance the quality of life of Madison County.

Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC)
As Indiana’s lead economic development agency, the IEDC oversees Indiana’s business attraction and development efforts, coordinates state programs and incentives for companies, and provides technical assistance, business expertise and funding to Indiana entrepreneurs and high-tech start-ups.
